IMPERIAL AGENTS

The Imperial Agents are the specialist armed bodies of the Imperium outside the Imperial Guard and the Space Marine Chapters. The Inquisition answers to itself alone, charged with finding and destroying any threat to humanity; the Grey Knights, a Chapter of daemon-hunting Space Marines, form the Chamber Militant of its Ordo Malleus. The Officio Assassinorum raises killers in hidden temples, and none below the High Lords of Terra may order one deployed. The Tech-Priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus guard the Imperium's ancient technology from Mars. These bodies seldom make war alone; their detachments fight beside Guard and Space Marine armies.
